G.I.HAUL® Junk and Waste Removal, a Pittsburgh-based and veteran-owned and operated company, has signed its sixth franchise. Tampa, FL will be added to existing franchises in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Austin, and Fort Worth.
G.I.HAUL® Junk and Waste Removal, a Pittsburgh-based and veteran-owned and operated company, has continued its rapid expansion across the country and has signed its seventh franchise. San Antonio will be added to existing franchises in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Tampa, Austin, and Fort Worth. That also marks the third location in Texas, all of which are owned and operated by former Marines.
“Our mission is to increase veteran business ownership,” David McCloskey of G.I.HAUL® said. “And the way you do that is make it affordable, and open up the opportunities for these veterans.”
G.I.HAUL® – a Pittsburgh-based, full-service residential and commercial junk and waste removal company that exclusively awards franchises to U.S. military veterans – has signed its first-ever franchise agreement.
G.I.HAUL® was awarded $20,000. The full-serve junk and waste removal company hires veterans and helps them to transition to franchise ownership. It has locations in the city’s Oakland neighborhood, Sharpsburg and Evans City.
The kids will have their Christmas, all five of them. The men from G.I.HAUL® dropped off the Christmas tree Wednesday, and the kids decorated it. On Thursday, lots and lots of food. On Christmas Day, the big truck will be full of toys.
Mike and Dave McCloskey, two brothers who served in the military overseas, understand the challenge. As owners of G.I.HAUL®, a residential and commercial junk removal company, they are recruiting fellow veterans for franchise opportunities.
Residents of Plum Borough are hopeful after a significant cleanup effort at a local hoarded property. The homeowner, who had accumulated large amounts of junk over the years, has finally agreed to accept help from neighbors and a local junk removal company. This effort is seen as a positive step towards resolving the hoarding issue that has caused frustration and safety concerns among the community.
